What all can I buy at Pulp Studio?
We encourage you to share with us the paper and stories you have accumulated and put it to good use. We'll recycle it and give it to you in the form of paper sheets in various shapes, sizes & colours as per your order or turn it into something even more memorable like a sketchbook, diary, book mark-set, envelopes, letter pads etc.
We also have a variety of paper sheets, big and small, made by us that have lovely prints and colours from which you can choose to buy the ones that fit your taste and purpose best!
How to use handmade paper?
The paper that we provide you can be used for multi purposes. It can be used for creative expression in making collages, greeting cards, envelopes, letter pads, gift tags, journaling, sketching etc. Being thick and sturdy one can paint or sketch on it, write with ink and also do calligraphy as the beautiful texture helps even flow and absorption of liquids very well. Using it to semd letters makes a special and quirky use of it to keep the romance and connection alive in any relationships especially in times of social media and video calls where the the concept of distance and time is so warped.
Some tips for using handmade paper!
Always remember the paper can be used both sides.
Use fevicol glue for proper adhesion, fevistick may not be strong enough in the long run.
It can be thick so pasting it in any book may cause increase of bulk.
Artists should swatch their materials onthe paper first and then use it to create art as it can have different response to the paper than what you might know.
Do not over dry or wet it it can cause breakage or discoloration.
The eadges of handmade paper might be crooked or crumbled but it is completely normally.
